Program details:

• This is a gathering open to all youth Venturers in the Region (adults may accompany youth).
• A series of forums, seminars, and discussions on Venturing will occupy about half the time.
• We'll have occasional breakouts by geography and roles.
• Our present and new Region President, and present National President, and selected key youth and advisors will deliver programs.
• We'll hear from Rick Cronk, Chairman of the World Scouting Committee.
• Social and play time will be abundant.

Logistics details:

• The activity takes place in Coast Guard Island on the San Francisco Bay.
• A day trip to scenic parts of San Francisco is included.
• Meals from Friday supper through Sunday breakfast are included.
• We will be camping; shelters can be provided for fliers.
• Local transportation to and from airports (OAK preferred, SFO and SJC okay) provided.
• Arrivals between 11 AM and 4 PM on Friday preferred (fun activities provided).
• Departure anytime on Sunday okay.

Optional add-on:

• On Sunday we'll take you to Yosemite Valley if you wish.
• Extra fee of $30 includes additional transportation, park fees, and meals.
• Departure flights should be after 8pm on Sunday OR
• Monday departures okay (home hospitality and transportation provided for fliers).
• Alternate shorter trips to Santa Cruz beach or Big Basin Redwoods might be offered for those with afternoon flights.
